  1. I run and I also cycle. I got startled once by a runner on the road running towards me while I was on my road bike at night doing 30kph. Luckily I did not hit him nor was there a moving vehicle near me. And there’s a very empty sidewalk nearby. Its not like we’re on the countryside where roads only have grass patches on the side. But if it really turns you on running on asphalt, bring blinkers or some glow in the dark accessories please!
