Participants will receive a 30% voucher for all Skechers GOwalk footwear, as well as a personalised E-Bib, which can be shared on your own social media platforms and the 42Race in-app race feed.
Finisher Rewards
Upon completion of chosen category, participants will also receive a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ voucher for use on regular priced items at all Skechers concept stores, a Finisher E-Certificate and E-Badge.
Participants are also encouraged to share their interesting moments during the Walk on Instagram where three lucky winners will be chosen for their creative entries to win a pair of GOwalk 6 shoes, the latest addition of the signature GOwalk series. Participants will also stand a chance to win 1 year's suppy of Skechers footwear in a lucky draw!

What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

Organised by sports and lifestyle brand SKECHERS for the fourth year running, the Skechers Friendship Walk 2021 Online Edition is back this August 2021 for more friendly fun as participants get to earn exciting Skechers rewards and join in a lucky draw to win the grand prize of the event.
This year’s Walk will be held between 2 to 22 August 2021, during which participants can accumulate steps on their fitness tracker or device to reach different step goals across the two-week period. A good way to stay active even as we are staying home more often these days, and to be able to explore our city’s corners.
As part of the event, there will be attractive Skechers rewards up for grabs, with all participants receiving an exclusive voucher upon sign-up for 30% off GOwalk footwear, Skechers’ signature walking shoe series. By attaining the step count in at least one category, there will also be a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ voucher when you complete the Walk! With the first category beginning at 50,000 accumulative steps (or 2,380 steps/day), all casual runners and walking enthusiasts will be able to take part, even if it’s just a short daily stroll around your community with family members our neighbours.
To enhance your walk experience, participants can choose to add-on Skechers Friendship Walk merchandise, comprising an event medal or event T-shirt. Or get the full Event Pack for a free pack of ombre masks for you to step out safely for your walks.
Share your favourite moments from your walks on Instagram, as three inspiring or interesting posts will be chosen to win a pair of Skechers GOwalk 6 shoes. All eyes will also be on the grand prize of the event. A yearly tradition of the Skechers Friendship Walk, one winner will walk away with one year’s supply of Skechers footwear!
Skechers Pledges $1 With Every Sign-Up for APSN Beneficiaries
Skechers continues its long-term partnership with the APSN, a social service agency which provides special education for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities. Having partnered with APSN for the 2019 edition of the Skechers Friendship Walk, and in 2020 for its Apprenticeship Programme, Skechers is honoured to contribute to the community for this event.
In support of the organisation, Skechers will donate $1 to APSN with every participant registration for the Skechers Friendship Walk 2021. The total amount donated will be used in purchasing shoes for APSN special needs beneficiaries.
Just by signing up, everyone can make a small contribution to give back to the community!
