What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

Returning this September 2020 for a third edition, the SKECHERS Friendship Walk will be held in a virtual format this year, while carrying on the spirit of the Walk to encourage bonding between family and friends. Participants will also be able to earn exciting Skechers rewards and take part in a lucky draw for the grand prize.
This year’s online edition of the Walk will take place from 7 to 20 September 2020, where all participants will be able to complete their chosen distance virtually within this period – a great way to stay active and keep fit, while also spending valuable time together with family members and loved ones!
What’s more, all participants will be able to receive attractive Skechers rewards, including discount vouchers upon both sign-up and completion of the race, as well as join in for a lucky draw to win the grand prize of the event. A yearly tradition at the event, one winner will walk away with one year’s supply of Skechers footwear!

• Race categories available are 3km (est. 4,000 steps) / 5km (est. 6,600 steps) / 10km (est. 13,200 steps).
• Complete your race submission via mobile app or weblink provided. Multiple submissions are allowed within the period of 7 to 20 Sep 2020
