  What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.

Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.

All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.

Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

PSS’ annual outreach event, “Move To Beat Parkinson” returns with a second Virtual Charity Run from 24 April 2022 to 31 July 2022. Move to Beat Parkinson is Parkinson Society Singapore’s signature event in April to commemorate World Parkinson’s Day and its significance. It aims to raise awareness for the wellbeing of our local Parkinson community.

So gather your family and friends and join us to run or cycle in support of People with Parkinson in Singapore!

Regular exercise and an active lifestyle can slow down the progression of Parkinson and help PwP maintain their balance, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities. So let us encourage PwP to stay active and positive by participating in this virtual charity run. Run, jog, walk, or cycle at your own time and pace, and remember to hashtag #PSSStayActive on your social media to show your support for our local Parkinson community!

You may also help us raise awareness for Parkinson by creating your own fundraising campaign on the Giving.sg platform. Or you may click this link and simply share it each time you update your progress:
