What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

The annual HomeTeamNS REAL® (Regular Exercise, ActiveLifestyle) Run is back again this year – set to kick off on Friday, 24 July 2020 – and will be going completely virtual for the first time ever.
Set out to promote regular exercise and an active lifestyle, this 24th edition of the REAL® Run follows the theme of 24/7 – in appreciation and support of our Lifesavers (Singapore Civil Defence Force) and Protectors (Singapore Police Force) who have worked tirelessly round the clock to ensure the safety and security of our citizens amidst a global pandemic.
This year’s virtual REAL® Run will consist of three different solo categories – 5KM, 15KM and 24KM – and participants can complete the run at their own pace, time and running route of choice. Simply register for your run and provide a screenshot of your running app, showing the date, time and distance ran!
