  What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.

Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.

All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.

Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!
  More information
The HCA Vertical Challenge is back! Climbing on the success of our 2020 edition, this year, we hope to raise $400,000 to fund 1,333 home visits for the care of our terminally ill patients.

From 10/10 to 12/12 (10 October until 12 December 2021), you can #StepUpForHCA in support of patients with life-limiting illnesses in three simple steps:
1. Choose your category (Individual or Team).
2. Choose your vertical gain (100m-900m or Open Target).
3. Complete your challenge* (ANY place and time, e.g staircases of high-rise buildings, or outdoor hills like Mount Faber Park).

Each challenge consists of two components: achieving the chosen vertical gain and fundraising a minimum of $300, which will help fund one home visit for our patients.

Participants who complete both components, will receive attractive finisher entitlements, including a medal, finisher t-shirt, a box of delectable Peranakan kueh and a USB fan (limited to the first 150 participants).
