What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

World Virtual Race presents: the Astrology Challenge—our most exciting race theme yet! We’re challenging all our ambitious WVR participants to help us determine which star sign is the ultimate champion.
When you register for the Astrology Challenge you’ll be able view a chart of which zodiac signs make up the most registrants. We’ll then compete to see which group can log the most miles and earn the most medals. Will Aquarius beat out Leo? Might we see Sagittarius go head-to-head with Aries? Can Pisces overtake Taurus? We’ll all find out over the course of the 365 kilometer WVR Astrology Challenge.
Upon completion, you’ll earn a limited edition prize medal. We’re proud to say that the astrology medal is one of the most exciting and beautifully crafted medals in the WVR collection. See the video animation for a glimpse of the design. This medal features all of the zodiac personalities and is overlaid with a rotating dial that spins to highlight each of the signs.
If you’ve met with your astrologer recently, they’ve probably told you that 2022 is your year for achievement! Give yourself more wellness, greater goal-setting, and extra team-building than any year previous.
