What to expect:
Yoga Gives Back is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to alleviate poverty in India.
The organisation doesn’t just donate money to the poor, but they adopted Nobel Peace Prize Recipient Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s revolutionary Micro Financing Model.
The funds raised are being loan to women in poverty to help them have a means to living or to put children through school.
Teaching a woman to fish, instead of giving her a fish!
It is Meraki’s pleasure to host this event and give back to India, where it all began, and especially to give in a way that empowers those receiving help.
Any gesture, large or small, makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the women and children supported by YGB!
