  What to expect:

This National Day, join the Total Defence SG57km Challenge and celebrate 57 years of independence by cycling through a specially designed 57km route through Singapore’s sights and heartlands!

The route has been designed to bring cyclists through the NDP Heartland carnival locations and sites around Singapore including Wisma Geylang Serai, Punggol and the Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Spanning across 57km to represent the years of Singapore’s nationhood, the route also serves to remind participants that each and every one of us can play a part in Total Defence to preserve our sovereignty, protect our way of life and safeguard our future. Participants can track their journey via the Strava app or any tracking app on their phones.

Participants can stand a chance of winning $20 worth of GrabFood vouchers by sharing a picture of their completed route on their Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #SG57, and tagging @WeAreTotalDefence and 2 friends to join the challenge.

Participants are reminded to cycle in small groups, take precautions for their own safety and be mindful of the safety of others.

Nexus also welcomes the public to get creative this National Day month and submit innovative ideas that rally the community to put Total Defence into action to keep Singapore strong.
