Tesco Walk for Kids is a fund raising event to support underserved schools under the Tesco-PINTAR Foundation School Adoption Programme. Last year's walkathon event, held at Desa ParkCity Kuala Lumpur raised up to RM400,000 in participation fees, cash donations and in in kind contribution from Tesco's business partners and suppliers.
This year, Tesco Walk for Kids 2018 will be held in Ipoh, hosting a total of 8 schools in Perak to help raise educational, health and wellness funds as well as students welfare programs. The 8 schools are:
SK SERI KEPAYANG, IPOH
SK DE LA SALLE, KAMPAR
SK PENGKALAN PEGOH, IPOH
SK BENDANG SIAM, CHANGKAT JERING
SK PENGKALAN BAHARU, GOPENG
SMK TAMBUN, IPOH
SK SUAK PADI, BOTA
SK DATO ISHAK, LUMUT
