  More about this event
The Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) is thrilled to announce the return of its annual cycling fundraiser, Tour de Care 2024, with a renewed focus on inclusivity and community support. Set against the stunning backdrop of Marina Bay and Nicoll Highway, this event invites cyclists of all ages and abilities to join a 20 KM ride in solidarity with HNF's ailing patients. Building on the resounding success of last year's event, which saw over 600 dedicated cyclists participating, Tour de Care 2024 promises to be an even more engaging and impactful experience for the community.

Triathlete Choo Ling Er, a participant in the previous year's event, expressed her enthusiasm for supporting Tour de Care again, emphasising athletes' crucial role in leveraging their influence and experiences to contribute meaningfully to society. "As a sportsperson, it's not just about the competition; it's about using my platform to create awareness and give back to the community," she shared.

Lim Thiam Hee, a dedicated cycling group member of HNF’s Active Ageing Centre, is also proud to support this year’s event. His passion for cycling and commitment to the cause exemplify the diverse community spirit that Tour de Care aims to foster. Familiar faces include Sam Lee, a fervent supporter who cycled a total of 1,015KM in Tour De Care 2023, and Mediacorp Artiste Ben Yeo, who are thrilled to announce their continued involvement as the excitement builds for this year’s event.

Inclusivity Takes Center Stage
Tour de Care 2024 is putting inclusivity at the heart of the event this year, introducing a particular Mobility Ride segment. Specifically designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities and elderly participants facing mobility challenges, this segment features a shorter 1 KM track. This thoughtful addition ensures that those with disabilities or mobility impediments can actively participate and contribute to the charitable cause.

This year, the event welcomes a strategic partner, Ageless Bicyclists Ltd, a non-profit social enterprise that wholeheartedly supports this initiative. Ageless Bicyclists conducts active, healthy lifestyle programs for silver communities, youths of different abilities, and families. They will be providing adaptive tricycles/tandem/recumbents for cyclists with different abilities to participate.

“It’s heartening to witness organisations being inclusive to the needs of different abilities and I’m delighted to support them,” said Malcolm Chen, founder of Ageless Bicyclists.

Tour de Care 2024 Details
Tour de Care 2024 is set to captivate participants on 30 March 2024 at the 100PLUS Promenade @ Singapore Sports Hub. The event has also introduced a month-long virtual cycling component for those unable to partake on the designated day. This innovative addition allows participants to cycle at their convenience, anytime and anywhere, contributing to the fundraising efforts of underprivileged patients.

Funds raised during Tour de Care 2024 will play a pivotal role in alleviating the financial burden of underprivileged patients, enabling them to receive compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of their homes. This event is not just a ride; it's a collective effort to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

The registration period for Tour de Care spans from 5 February to 29 April 2024, providing participants ample time until 29 April 2024 to clock in their distance and raise funds. Interested participants can register for the event and find more information at
