The SMU mile run was well planned. The route was splendid. I always have the fear of running high steep slopes but the high slope of SMU mile run was not steep at all. So I was able to complete the 3 loops of 1.6km in 34 mins confidently. I like to comment one gal marshal for her patience to remind runners to b extra careful when we were running the very steep down slope. I ran 3 times and she reminded me 3 times. Overall, the weather was pretty fine. All the signboards were well displayed. I must congratulate the organising committee for their zealous effort in organising the SMU mile run. I could not believe my ears when I was told that this was the first SMU running event. The organising team had done a great job. Well done! The SMU mile run Finisher medal “Redefining your mile” was well designed. I wil definitely come back next year again for SMU mile run.
