  About event
The 100km course follows the magnificent Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and then on the Oxley and Milawa cycle path which starts and finishes at Apex Park in Wangaratta. Entrants choose from the 100km or 50km solo run, 4 x 25km relay run, Marathon or Half Marathon, 100km or 50km cycle challenge or 10km fun run. The event is fully supported with food and beverage aid stations approximately every 5km. Times are accurately recorded and the 100km & 50km is IAAF AIMS certified and entrants choose their own start time aiming to finish at 12pm Sunday. Entry fees for all but the 10km includes customised event bibs, 2-bottle Ned Kelly Chase hydration belt and a ticket to the presentation dinner Sunday evening. Dinner includes delicious 1880's favourites such as lamb shank soup, damper, various roast veges and meats, cottage pie and for dessert we tuck into bread and butter pudding and an adult-styled trifle. All event finishers receive either a stylised Ned Kelly helmet medal or keyring and there is also a great range of other prizes and giveaways. We hope you will consider joining us and celebrating both the best of the region and the spirit and history of the 1880s.
