Lunghi Run 2018
In memory of Ali Akbar (Founder of Lunghi Run)
Lunghi Run is back again. This time with a lot of meaning and purpose. We are a group of runners who wish to fulfill the dreams of a fallen running comrade, Ali Akbar who passed away from cancer in Aug 2018. He fought a heroic battle and showed all of us his fighting spirit.
Lunghi Run had been his baby since the Year 2013. It had been his most cherished dream to see the 2018 edition of the Lunghi Run to fruition. Unfortunately, he passed away before this can happen.
Let's come together, past and present Lunghi runners. Together we will remember this outstanding runner who impacted the running community. His legacy would carry on.
