The Mainfreight City to Surf and Bay of Plenty Times Surf to Surf is an annual 11 km and 5 km fun run/walk event in Tauranga, which sees the introduction of a 21 km half marathon in 2017. This is the largest fun run / walk in the Bay of Plenty.

The 11 km City to Surf starts at Sulphur Point, goes over the Harbour Bridge, down Totara Street, through Coronation Park, along Pilot Bay, around the stunning base track of the Mount and finish on the Main Beach. The Surf to Surf 5 km starts and finishes on the Mount main beach and completes one lap around the Mount base track.

2013 introduced a corporate challenge which consists of 5 people per team and 2 of these team members must be female. You must supply a Corporate/Company name when registering to be eligible for the challenge.

Bay of Plenty Times Surf to Surf 5 km (includes finishers medal): $25

Entry fees from 2nd August until 24th October
City to Surf Half Marathon (includes finishers medal): $55
City to Surf 11 km (includes finishers medal): $35 per person
Bay of Plenty Times Surf to Surf 5 km (includes finishers medal): $30 per person

Entry fees from 25th October
City to Surf Half Marathon (includes finishers medal): $65
City to Surf 11 km (includes finishers medal): $45 per person
Bay of Plenty Times Surf to Surf 5 km (includes finishers medal): $35 per person

Pre Event Shuttle Bus: $5 – for half marathon and 11 km competitors only. Shuttle bus must be booked by 25th October.
