This is a shout out to all BFFs to come together for a meaningful purpose – some quality time as you run or walk together. Come 6 October 2019, the BFF Run will be held at the scenic Bedok Reservoir for the first time ever. Take this special occasion to encourage your BFFs to join you in giving your all to finish strong in the 8.6KM power run. Or perhaps a 4.3KM leisure run is more your speed? For those looking for an exciting twist, why not take part in the 2KM BFF (Build-For-Families) barefoot walk to support a worthy cause. Whatever the intention, let this be a memorable get-together for all BFFS to relish for years to come.
Skin Repair is the title sponsor of the run event which will comprise of 2KM BFF (Build-For-Families) barefoot walk, 4.3KM leisure run and 8.6KM power run. Skin Repair Aesthetics Centre (www.skinrepair.com.sg) is an established beauty centre with three outlets in Singapore.
BFF Run 2019 is held in conjunction with ‘World Habitat Day’ on 7 October 2019. It is a day designated by the United Nations on every first Monday of October to reflect on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. Every year, Habitat draws attention to the important role decent housing plays in removing barriers to opportunity, success and health that might have been part of a family’s life for years, if not generations. In recognition of this, partial proceeds from the BBF Run will be pledged to support the work of Habitat for Humanity Singapore to further their mission of providing safe and decent homes for vulnerable families in Singapore and around the region.
