Entry Drawing Single Runners
We will be using the entry drawing procedure for the 2019 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON as is common at other marathon events in the Abbott World Marathon Majors Series (AbbottWMM).
Registration for the entry drawing is possible during the period between between October 17, 2018 (12:00 noon CET) and November 7, 2018. It does not matter when you register within that timeframe, so feel free to take your time.
You will be required to submit all of your relevant data during the registration phase, including your bank or credit card informations with permission to charge your account (ONLY upon being selected in the drawing to participate). Your personal registration is binding. If your name is drawn, the participant fee will be booked from your account. It will not be possible to transfer or cancel your race entry after registration and/or draw!
Would you like to run together with someone or with a group of two or three runners? Then select the new path to the entry drawing for teams (only for 2 to 3 runners).
Would you like to secure a definite starting spot for yourself or a running group? Then select the path to the guaranteed starting spots and register via a tour operator or charity partner. You can also select one of these options after the entry drawing has been completed and you are still in need of a race number.
The bank or credit card informations will be deleted for everyone who is not selected in the drawing.
We will send out a confirmation email after the application has been submitted.
Multiple entries will not be considered.
The registration fee is 125 € per runner.
The results of the drawing will be announced by email on November 29, 2018 - December 3, 2018.
Save time and long ways at the clothing drop-off before the start and after the finish. If you forego the clothing drop-off, after the finish line you will receive a warming poncho that can be reused at many occasions. The number of poncho’s is limited.
The choice between clothing drop-off and poncho is binding and cannot be changed after finishing the registration process. More Info.
At the race weekend bib numbers must be picked up at the at the MARATHON EXPO (September 26-28, 2019) by each individual runner; group pick-ups are not possible. Pick-up by any other person is not possible!
The start card is required, as well as a photo ID (personal ID, passport, driver’s licence) for pick-up.

Skaters: number 1-4,000 = 75 Euros / from 4,001+ = 95 Euros
Double Starters = 125 Euros + the amount according to the skater price valid on the day of your registration
(A double start is ONLY possible for runners who have a starting spot!)
