This constitutes a great training place for trail runners and especially trail ultra runners. The elevation is great, and you get a great view from false peak. This is called false peak because you think you’re on top with a great view, but nope, you’re not! The trail up and down will give you an 18km run – really good elevation training.
Alternatively, you can also do a 5km out and back route which is more run-able if you are looking to train running uphills in the trail.
