What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

More
information
Every Minds Matters 2026: Run for Resilience is The Red Pencil (Singapore)'s flagship year-end virtual fundraising challenge that brings together individuals, families, and corporate teams to create meaningful impact through movement.
From September to December 2026, participants can choose to run, cycle, or swim at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. More than a fitness challenge, every kilometre completed helps raise awareness and funds to support vulnerable children, youth, adults and families who benefit from art therapy programmes delivered by The Red Pencil (Singapore).
Participants will challenge themselves physically and become advocates for emotional wellbeing by rallying friends, family members and colleagues to support their fundraising journey.
Together, we can turn every step, ride and lap into a pathway towards resilience and hope.
