  What to expect:

Join in a fun-filled day of activities with your friends and family in the first Car-Free Sunday in the Civic District on 28 February. Walk, jog, cycle and experience our city in a whole new different way!

Car-Free Sunday SG is a six-month trial that turns part of the city into a walking and cycling friendly district. It is part of the larger car-lite movement, envisioning our city with fewer cars, adding to the 11 other successful temporary road closures in the past three years.

The trial will begin with a major kickoff event with an exciting lineup of activities from 28 February. It will take place on every last Sunday of the month, with 4.7 km of roads closed in the Civic District and parts of the Central Business District.

*Please note that only non-motorised forms of transport (bicycles, rollerblades, unicycles, wheel chairs, prams, skateboards, etc), are permitted on the roads.
