The event was intentionally coincided with the birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio, one of our greatest national heroes who persevered to educate himself as we was not able to finish formal schooling due to poverty. That is what we want to teach our youth — to give a premium on education as it will emancipate them from the continuous cycle of poverty and liberate them from learned helplessness.
Inspired by this rationale, people from all walks of life eagerly participated in Takbolusyon. The proceeds sustained our educational subsidies to almost 250 members of the Alyansa ng mga Mag-aaral (AM) Iskolar.
